About Us

Ten years ago as a small Vermont group we started 01.20.09® Bush’s Last Day as a wake up call for those of us that were frustrated with President Bush and his administration.

It was a wake up call for those of us that were amazed by the lack of concern for the environment and health of this planet that the Bush administration had fostered. It was a wake up call for those of us who could believe that we were once again involved in a war, built on misinformation and with no end in sight. It was a wake up call to those of us who thought our brave soldiers should be brought home and live to see tomorrow, and not die for President Bush's war. Millions of people chose to wear or display the symbol 01.20.09® The date 01.20.09® became a national symbol for working towards an America after Bush.

Here we are 10 years later and guess what? It is time for 01.20.21™ Trump’s Last Day. We have gone from the frying pan right into the fire, and it’s not good.

The acts of hatred and violence that have surfaced after the election  are just a hint of what the Trump administration has to offer us. Robert F. Kennedy put it clearly when he said “Few will have the greatness to bend history itself; but each of us can work to

change a small portion of events, and in the total; of all those acts will be written the history of this generation”.

As an artist I have approached this protest and this call for awareness in the manner that I know best, visually.

It is my hope that the symbol of 01.20.21™ and Trump’s Last Day on buttons, t-shirt’s, decals and bumper stickers not only be a wake up call, but a call to action. We must continue to let our voices and beliefs be heard!

Donald Trump will not be the leader of this country at 12 noon on 01.20.21™, but who will? Check out our groups that make a difference page and do just that. Get involved at a local level in your community and state. Make a difference before it is too late…

I remember as a young man walking past the button store on McDougal street in NYC, there was a strange button in the window - it was a peace sign. that symbol inspired a generation and created a movement with the courage to bring a terrible war to an end. It wasn’t about the button. It was about the people that chose to wear one. It was about knowing where people stood.

This site and the image 01.20.21™ are a wake up call for those 72,475,308 of us who never voted for Donald Trump and the many millions that chose not to vote and now regret that choice. We stand in solidarity with the many groups that will be fighting the good fight against what is lining up to be the most repressive administration that we have seen in our lifetime. Be vigilant, be safe!

Thank you for taking the time to read this…
